On Wednesday, we were given feedbacks upon the presentations each group produced in the previous lesson (last Wednesday). In the same way, one member from each group had to get feedback responses from other groups. In this case, Hamza, volunteered to take this role, since he didn’t participate during the presentation.
Based upon the feedbacks given by Gerard as well as other groups I have summarised as stated below, including the strengths and weaknesses and my suggestions on the areas where I could have improved.
The strengths within the presentation was the fact the group is currently well-managed in terms of the roles given, therefore, going to make the group active. Due to the central character being a ‘Lady Villain’ which will gain larger audience; as female being a central character within Crime Drama’s is an unusual feature. Therefore we got a unique narrative style. The narrative was also mentioned as being very sophisticated and convincing.
In contrast, the weakness to this presentation was the fact it needed more visual information regarding to it. Such as images, sample of sound rather than having a list of information. In order words, more detailed required on the sound and the customs elements. To improve these sections, I could have used sample of customs or samples of music playing (which are not considered at the moment).
Overall, from Gerard’s and other group’s feedbacks, was really useful in terms to make further decisions within the group as part of the pre-production work!
