On Monday the group was undertaking mult-tasks. Sameea was doing her own research, while Hamza was making a logo for the group. Then I have worked on the story board to decide on the cinematgraphy work for the 3 mintues sequence. The following details are given to show what shot/ angle types are going to be used through the 3 mintues duration of the sequnce. Therefore this will benefit the group when it comes to the film-making process , so we will know what to film priscely. I gained some these ideas while I was researching crime drama opeining scenes: NCIS, CIS-New York CIS-Las Vagus, and Life on Mars. I have inserted few of the cilps based on it which are stated below:

Beginning of the Squence:
Intially we are going to start the sequence with diffrent shot types of the flat and the area surrounded by it along with graphic editing and slow and fast tempo of the music, to create a tensed, sinister and mysterious atmsophere. This includes high angle-brid’s eye-view,long-shot close up, a pan, which are demonstated by the images stated below. This is based on following a typical crime drama convention of a opening scene.
Then we are going use a close up on the Lady Viallian, to show the audience the focus of the crime drama. After that, I have decided to use Medium shot/ Head and Shoulder to emphaise the two male victims sitting on the floor, tied around with a piece rope, and use a piece of tape on thier mouth to give a sense of a touture sense to the audience, to capture thier attention from the initail stage. Both of these shots will illustrate the centual charater-lady villian’s body language and fiacal expressions to the audience. As a result, the audience will get deeply invloved with the narrartive, due to the centual charater being a female achetype, which is a usual charater role found in crime dramas.
After, I have determined to use tracking and close’up’s to give the audience the sense of setting of the place-group within the flat and develop the narrartive/ character. Along with fast tempo of the msuic to build to the climax of the crime drama. At that point,I have thought to have the police officers within the scene, this will be indicated by using sound effects-police serin, to create a sense of reality. After that, one of the police officers will be knocking on the window, then the lady villian will apporch to them, this will be shown by using a long medium shot, then a over shoulder while, one of the police officer asks her ‘why are you holding them in hotsatge’? soon a close up will be used on the vaillian face when she replies ‘Do you want to know why? ‘ The fast tempo of the music will end this squence.
